Food, Film, and Friendship, Italian Style

Posted by Jason, Jun 15, 2007

I wanted to point out an interesting event that was coming up in July to everyone. The Smithsonian Resident Associates have put an event together at GWU's Lisner Auditorium with Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich, and Marisa Tomei where the three stars of the television and culinary worlds will come together to talk about why the culinary arts have become popular in today's society...as if we didn't all know. Hello?! Food is AWESOME!

For more information, check out the Resident Associates web site. Tickets are $35 for non-members and $25 for members.

Thanks for the info on that event. I also wanted to say it's great that your donating proceed to Eastern Market! I'm counting the days 'til I can eat some bluebucks again.

Just got back from dinner at Cafe Atlantico in DC and saw Marisa Tomei, Mario Batali, and Lydia Bastianich having dinner at the MiniBar! Guess they just got in town for the Food, Film, Friendship event tomorrow. What a cool surprise to see these three tv/culinary stars out at a local restaurant.
