TasteDC has organized the first annual Scotch Whisky Festival. The festival will be held Nov. 30 at the Watergate Hotel from 7-9:30pm. There will be over 150 different whiskies available for tasting and purchase. You might need to take the following day off since it is on a Tuesday. :) Also, a buffet will be available by the head chef of the Watergate's Aquarelle restaurant. The buffet will feature:

Carved New York Strip with Meaux Mustard and Horseradish Cream, Red Bliss Potato Wedges, Miniature Rolls
Pasta Station - Chef's choice of three pastas and four sauces
Antipasti Display - Grilled Seasonal Vegetables with Olive Oil and Balsamic Drizzle, Marinated Kalamata Olives Cured Meats and Seafoods, Baby Mozzarrella with Pesto
Fruit and Cheese Display - Imported and Domestic Cheeses and Water Crackers, Sliced Seasonal fruits and Berries
