Aaaah, that WAS you on Tom's chat today.
Here's perhaps a good example of restaurants listening and reacting to customer complaints. Redemption is a good thing.
Pricey lunch though. Perhaps I'll just try a pastry to start.

Hehe. You figured me out. It WAS pricey!

Just an observation.. it's only a little over a half mile from the Rosslyn metro, that's pretty walkable. Don't forget VA!

Kafe Leopold was my bestDC experience last week when I was there for summer holidays. contrary to the previous review the space is nothing like Left Bank in Adams Morgan. Leopold design is modern minimalism with lost of warmth and conformt, I think it's the Brazilian cherry hard woods the orange and red colors.
the service is poor and slow , but the staff was pleasant and nice. Food was fantastic, a change from everything in GT , great wine list . Great spot to pop in after a show for desserts and after dinner drinks.

Leopold's is our favorite place in DC. Friendly and delicious.

This is by far my favorite restaurant. The soups and salads are the best and quite filling. And they have an Earl Grey Chocolate Cake... need I say more?
