Baltimore Chefs and Wine Experience

Logo2 If you’re going to be in the Baltimore area this weekend (or don’t mind a little travel in the name of good food and great company) check out the Baltimore Chefs and Wine Experience, hosted by the Food Network's Sandra Pinckney on Sunday, July 13th. The event will feature cooking demonstrations from:

Ted Allen (Iron Chef America judge and cookbook author)
Warren Brown (owner of Cake Love and host of Suger Rush...hooray for local businesses!)
Martha Hall Foose (author of Screen Doors and Sweet Tea)

You can go to for the complete list of chefs. I'm personally looking forward to Benjamin Erjavec's presentation on how to filet and cook a whole salmon three ways.

The event will also feature wine seminars and tastings with wine experts Tim Hanni (Master of Wine), Paul Lukacs, Monyka Berrocosa and Sharon Charny. Food, wine and spirits samples will be available all day, but don’t miss the Grand Tasting from 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Yay DCFoodies!

Sounds like a great Sunday afternoon event.

Sounds fun, thanks for the information!

Baltimore is an underrated food destination. There are some really great restaurants there, and generally much better quality for the cost, relative to DC.

Please enter me - I'd love to take my husband!

Suzanne Broadfield

wow...that sounds fun. Hope I win

This sounds really exciting. I spend most all of my free time cooking and would love to go to an event like this with my husband.

Sounds like this could be fun

Enter us! We would love to go!

What a great way to show there's more to Baltimore than crabs and crime. I never need an excuse to head up from D.C., but this is a good one.

I went last year and had a blast.

Sounds like a great time, I was a chef for a while before I got into management.

Thanks for this! Sounds like it will be great.

Looking forward to going; sounds great!

can't wait to go!

Sounds like fun time!

hey! my roommate just forwarded me this site and I love it already! We just moved to the area and this is exactly the kind of info I always have to search for.
Sounds like a great event!!

My girlfriend would love to go!

These events are a great experience. I love the level of awarness in the culinary world nowadays. Its nice to see some local faces in the mix!
