Westmoreland has the most unbelievable berries later in the season. Seriously, blackberries to die for. As we walk home with them from the Courthouse market people ask us where we got them, and the line stretches around the tent and onto the grass--if you get there after 9 you'll wait 10-15 mins, but it's worth it.

It's not sad at att to get excited about Farmers' market. Now that I live in the country, I don't go to Farmers' market because they are tyoo far, but I go directly to the farm. And boy (girl!) do I get excited about that.

I am always happy when a new farmers' market opens.

Bigg Riggs ramp mustard is phenomenal. And Westmoreland comes from Virginia's Northern Neck -- they can also be found at Alexandria's West End market with much shorter lines than those at Courthouse!
