New-ish to DC - any recommendations for which ones are can't miss deals?

Hi Erin, I like Dino, Art and Soul, Tallula, Willow, PS 7 all of which usually do a good job and truly embrace DC Restaurant Week. Also, look at comments from past restaurant weeks. They will usually detail people's good and bad experiences.

Any idea what is on the Ardeo RW menu? Have a reservation for Thursday...

Any menu for the palm yet?

Has anyone been to Birch & Barley for RW? I've been wanting to go there for a long time but I'm wondering if RW is worth it (since I mostly want to go for the beer menu).

Also wondering about Blue Duck Tavern's deal if anyone knows.

Had an excellent RW meal at Bastille this past Sunday. The weather was mild and we sat outside. The planes coming down on National are there, but not too annoying. Dress is casual. I would recommend the panzanella salad (an off-menu special) to start, the fresh roasted sardines marinated in a lemon-anchovy vinagrette as the entree, and perhaps the chocolate cake as dessert, as we had both the cardamon flan and plum financier and were not too terribly impressed, desserts aren't their strong point, apparently. Go for the sardines, though! They were first class, perfectly roasted and delicious. Never had better!
